Urgent Call to action. Dont leave it to someone else

Our Club has been in Epping for 88 years, it has touched thousands of people in its nearly 140 years of existence and still does
We now wish to push on to the final stage of the clubs facilities redevelopment
This is one of the most important things our club has attempted to undertake in its history, please don't leave it to others
If you can each print off the petition below this article and secure 12 or more signatures this will show the support we have from our community for our club and local sport

Dear Player, Parent, Supporter, Member

In 2013 we started the redevelopment of the Rugby Club, we invested £1.5 million but due to lack of grants available after the Olympics we were unable to finish the project

We have recently submitted a planning application for the following;
• PROPOSED NEW ALL-WEATHER PITCH TO REPLACE EXISTING GRASS PITCH
• IMPROVEMENTS IN DRAINAGE TO THE REMAINING GRASS PITCHES
• REPLACEMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF EXISTING FLOODLIGHTING
• COMPLETION OF APPROVED CLUBHOUSE BUILDING TO PROVIDE FUNCTION HALL
• COMPLETION OF APPROVED CAR PARKING AND IMPROVED LAYOUT INCLUDING PROVISION OF ADDITIONAL SPACES INCREASING FROM 96 TO 216
• DEMOLITION OF THE OLD CLUB HOUSE

Our application will probably be successful however without the funds to deliver them, it is superfluous
This is where your help is needed!!
In parallel with the above application WT Homes have submitted an application to build 10 family homes on the north side of our club on the small piece of ground that is currently used as overspill car parking

The capital receipts from this will fully fund our development
• We recently secured approval from North Weald Parish Council plus Epping Upland Parish Council.
• Furthermore Sport England, The RFU, St Johns School Epping plus Epping Primary have all provided written support for the scheme
We now need to secure support from the Epping Forest District Council (EFDC) Area Planning Sub-Committee East and its parent the District Management Committee
To support the application could you please ask neighbours, parents at your school, friends and family etc. to sign the petition to endorse our application. this will be presented to the councillors who represent our community
if you can hand in the petitions at the club or post in the post box at the front of the clubhouse or send them in the post it would be most appreciated
