Lets Finish What We Started!! Plus Secure a Full Size Floodlight All Weather Pitch
Urgent support needed for our planning Application Please follow the guidance below and use application number epf/0917/18 in Subject box
In 2013 we started on the redevelopment of our facilities and managed with the funds available to build the All Weather Training Pitch plus our Clubhouse.
We were aware we didn't have sufficient funds to finish the project and expected to receive additional grant funding, however in the post Olympic era this was not forthcoming.
Our Club has been commended for enabling us to increase sport in the community including, Football, Netball, Tennis . We now have over 1,200 persons participating in sport other than rugby.
You may be aware we recently submitted a planning application for the following;
• PROPOSED NEW ALL-WEATHER PITCH TO REPLACE EXISTING GRASS PITCH
• IMPROVEMENTS IN DRAINAGE TO THE REMAINING GRASS PITCHES
• COMPLETION OF APPROVED CLUBHOUSE BUILDING TO PROVIDE FUNCTION HALL
• COMPLETION OF APPROVED CAR PARKING WITH INCREASED CAPACITY
• DEMOLITION OF THE OLD CLUB HOUSE
Our application will probably be successful however without the funds to deliver them, it is superfluous.
This is where your help is needed!!
In parallel with the above application WT Homes have submitted an application to build 10 family homes on the north side of our club on the small piece that is of no value for training .
The sale of this piece of land with planning permission will allow us to finalise our development.
We recently secured approval to the planning application from North Weald Parish Council plus Epping Upland Parish Council, The RFU and Sport England.
We now need to secure support from the Epping Forest District Council (EFDC)
who will be voting upon the planning application
To show your support there is an email address which you are able to send an email supporting the application
These will be seen by the councillors
