One of those days everything the oppo tried came off and well we were second best.
Special mentions go to the following players:
1. Dean McFarlane – Although the size of a small troll, his lightning pace secured the only EUCRFC try by interception. Plus some impressive tackling skills showcased.
2. Matt ‘Bosh’ Sweeney – Moving around the park like a wrecking ball, Sweeney destroyed anything in his path. This man really made the opposition think twice about carrying the ball.
3. Alfie Reynolds – Solid defence by this talented youngster, including several turnovers, ensured the defeat was slight.
4. Liam Rogers – Solid performance. Made an effort to turn up for the first half even with commitments. Ran some great lines and put in some very formidable hits. Moaned like a girl when his car keys were lost.
5. James ‘Logan’ Crouch – No. 1 supporter. It’s Crouchy… enough said.
6. Adam Ayres – Made an effort to turn up as we were short for players. Some great walking and standing done by this chap.
Overall, a very clichéd game in which EUCRFC struggled to get out of the starting blocks and gel as a side.
