I am proud to be the Chairman of our club and can assure you that we have done everything necessary to ensure we are ready for the return of the game we love. Our club is in great shape considering these unparalleled times.
With the support of Simon Finch, Nick Slate, John Wain, Danny Elmer plus many more We are ready.
We are at stage C of the return to rugby however we need to be at stage F before the return to competitive rugby, the game we love.
It became apparent very quickly that rugby would be one of the last sports to return to normality. To see our facilities mothballed was unacceptable
We were approached by Epping Town Football Club to use our pitches for pre-season training as the council pitches were unavailable.
We were pleased to support them plus other numerous clubs whilst we were not using the pitches.
ETFC were informed last week that they would not be able to use their existing pitches at Stonards in Epping. They approached us to see if we could support them with the use of a pitch to play their league and cup games this season. The entire committee agreed to this suggestion.
We are delighted to announce that Epping Towm will play Hullbridge Sports in the Essex Senior Cup on the 5th of September at Upland Rd 2-15 KO
Please come along and support them and give them a huge CLUB welcome
There will be stewards to ensure social distancing and the entire facilities of our club will be available. Be safe and see you there on the 5th.
