U14’s
Match report: The U14’s won away against a competitive Woodford RFC with a final score of 7-29.

The opposition went a try up with a great piece of individual skill and speed (kick + chase) in the opening minutes. Shortly after the boys reset and took control of the fixture with really good performances across the whole team.

Special mentions go to the combative forwards who won more than their fair share of scrummages & rucks earning plenty of ball for the back line who regularly stretched Woodford with their quick passing/running play. Tackling in the backs was very impressive this week and they should all be pleased with the improvement they have shown in this area!

For the record, try scorers were Frank Courtney (2), George Walker (1), Harry Stockhill (1) and conversions by Jonah Harris.

Whole teams tackling ability showed a marked improvement after last Wednesdays well run tackling masterclass from Jack Scully. Credit to Jack but also the players for being so responsive and showing what they learnt straight away!
