Wrinkles 55 - Stamford Le Hope 7

There was something rather different about this home merit table match. Was it the return of several ExA Leg ends....no. Was it that the oldies played in the red, white, black and yellow shirts.....no. Was it only THE FIRST EVER GAME IN THE NEW BLOOMIN CLUBHOUSE....yes..yes...and thrise yes.
Big changing rooms, hot showers, toilets (Smelley Kelley first to christen (Smelley by name, Smelley by nature!!)). The only downside was that we had to leave to play a BLOOMIN game of BLOOMIN rugby.
As the scores suggest the club recorded a comfortable victory. Kenty scoring three first half tries before deciding he wanted to be the first to use the showers and went off with a shaving nick. Jailboy also notched up a hat trick, yes I did say Jailboy..whatever next!!!!.. That's two jugs, we also tried to get a jug out of Youthful as he came onto the pitch three time during the match after initially being substituted off but he wasn't having it....miserable git.
The two other tries were scored by Mathew Howard and Mahin who confirmed in the changing room that he either plays prop or back row so was promptly put on the wing.
George managed two conversion before Dad took over and didn't miss....should have had a game ending drop goal but Weeble couldn't hook the ball and was taken against the head.......message to BOM...Weeble broke the bench in the changing room :-)
